Yung Filly Hit with Two More Sexual Assault Charges in Australia

British rapper and internet personality Yung Filly has been charged with two additional counts of sexual penetration without consent in Australia, bringing the total number of charges he faces to ten. The charges stem from an alleged incident that took place in a hotel room in Hillarys, Perth, on 28 September 2024.

Yung Filly, whose real name is Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, appeared in Perth District Court where the new charges were filed. He has not yet entered a plea on these additional counts.

In March 2025, the 29-year-old had already pleaded not guilty to four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of impeding another person’s breathing—specifically, strangulation. The original charges followed his arrest in Brisbane on 9 October 2024, after which he was extradited to Western Australia.

Currently out on A$100,000 bail (approximately £52,000), Yung Filly remains under strict conditions. He must stay in Western Australia, surrender his passport, and avoid any contact with the alleged victim.

A ten-day trial in the District Court is scheduled to begin on 20 July 2026, over a year from now. The long delay reflects the complexity and seriousness of the case, which continues to gather public and media attention both in Australia and the UK.

In a separate incident, Yung Filly admitted to reckless driving in December 2024 after being caught speeding at 158 km/h in a 100 km/h zone in Perth. He pleaded guilty to that charge.

Known for his rise to fame on social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, Yung Filly has a large following and has appeared on UK television programmes including Soccer Aid and The Great Celebrity Bake Off. His case has sparked intense debate online, with fans and critics reacting strongly to the unfolding developments.

If convicted, Yung Filly could face significant prison time under Australian law. For now, he maintains his innocence and awaits trial in what is shaping up to be one of the highest-profile legal cases involving a UK entertainer abroad.
